This post is dedicated to the Sandals development team since I have place my resignation last week. I will be moving to better and more distant fields at ESRI in Redlands, California.
I excited to announce that I have accepted a senior web development position at ESRI (www.esri.com) The Geoghraphical software giants, and will be starting mid-November. I am truly excited to start work at this great company and with so many great engineers. I hope they like ColdBox!! jejeje :)

I thank Sandals for all the time they gave me, the opportunity to shine and bring forward more Object Oriented Coldfusion than they ever imagined possible. Thanks for this great 4 years where I have grown and learned.

World Cup 2006!!

Finally, after four years of waiting we get the World Cup.  I am excited just like a little kid. I bought my stickers album like I have since Spain 1982 and have it almost filled out.  I am wearing my Argentina Jersey today in preparation for tomorrows game against Ivory Coast.  For all you "Futbol" fans, hope you are ready for an exciting month!!

Viva Argentina Boludo!!

Germany 4 : Costa Rica 2

What an exciting first world cup game.  The tension was high and the game was amazing. Germany played incredibly!! I am afraid of them now!! Costa Rica played awesome too, but their defense was shabby.  What an exciting world cup, I hope all the games are this intense. Gotta go, game 2 is on now.

I just read this incredible article on digg. please check it out. It will blow your mind!!

Finally Blog CFC 4.0.2!!

Well, Finally I got some time to update my Blog CFC installation by Raymond Camden to 4.0.2 from my 3.9 install.

I had forgotten how much I had to tweak, with all the layout changes I did. Anyways, Raymond?s code is great and everything is as it should be.

I will be redesigning the whole site soon, but I wanted to get this upgrade out of the way. I am planning on moving the site to my coldfusion framework, TeXtus. Which I will be unveiling in a few weeks.

This will change somehow my blogCFC install, but I am trying to implement it into the site and not a separate app. This way, my site can revolve around many apps, in one single framework.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the upgrade!! And give ray a visit.

Well, yet another storm is approaching South Florida and panic mode has just started. I am at the office doing complete database and application backups and getting ready to go home and panic.

I truly hope this time, the electricity does not go out and no major damages occur. And they just finished fixing my roof last week.
